- I am new to pole fitness. How do I start?

New students should start in Beginner Pole Technique I, and build up gradually. We also recommend completing Beginner Pole Technique I and Beginner  Pole Technique II before attending Low Flow & Floorwork Fundamentals course.

-What do I wear to class? How should I prepare for classes?

That depends on which level you will be attending! 

Please do not use body/hand lotions before class, as it might impact your ability to grip the pole.

Please do not wear any ring, bracelets or watches, as You will be asked to remove them during class.

Pole Beginner Technique: Please wear comfortable fitness clothing; classes will be bare feet.

Beginner Pole Technique II-III: shorts will be required: Classes will be bare feet.

Intermediate and up: Shorts will be required. Skin grip might be required on your abdomen, sides and back. Classes will be bare feet.

Low Flow & Floorwork Fundamentals: Please wear comfortable fitness clothing; Heels required; Knee pads recommended.

Low Flow & Floorwork Int/Adv: Shorts might be required. Heels required. Knee pads highly recommended.

-I have previous experience in Pole Fitness…which level is for me?

Our staff will be happy to schedule an assessment to help you narrowing down which level would suit you best!

-Can I skip a level?

No, skipping a level is not an option. We want to ensure the safety of our students and make sure they progress efficiently. Students must attend at least one full session on each level before they upgrade to the next one. Please email us at polesrevolution@gmail.com if you have any questions or if you have been taking classes at a different studio.

- Am I too small/too big to attend a Pole session?

Absolutely not! Pole is for everyone, no matter size or fitness level.

- I am currently pregnant or had recently given birth. Can I attend classes?

In these circumstances, a doctor note will be required to attend a class.

-I am under 18 years old, can I attend classes?

At this time, classes are only for 18+ students.

-I Identify as a male; Can I attend classes?

Yes! Pole fitness is for everyone, no matter which gender you identify with. 

 

-I missed a class :(, can I get a refund or make up class?

At this time all sessions are FINAL sale and are non-refundable and non-transferable. For drop in and private classes, a 24-hour notice is required in order to receive a refund. No refund will be offered for late cancellations. 

-What if I am late for class?

Warm up is a fundamental section of your pole class. For your own safety and well being, and out of respect to fellow students, students arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to attend class, with no class refunds.

-Can I take video/photos/record, during the class?

We kindly ask our students to please not take videos/pictures/record during class unless your teachers say it’s ok to do so.  Please be mindful when posting on social media, not to post if someone else is is the video/picture and you didn’t receive consent to do so.
